Texas Book Festival Grant Award

We are pleased to announce that our Library has been awarded a 2025 Texas Book Festival Grant to increase our collections.  We applied for this grant in April and were notified that we received the award this month.  We are planning to buy books for our Young Adult section. More up-to-date titles of interest to our young adult readers will be available soon. We are also planning to purchase Spanish books to expand our Spanish collection and increase our presence among the Spanish-speaking population of our county.  The books have been curated by local educators and are important books of Spanish literature.  Look for upcoming information opportunities for these populations to learn more about the new books that will be available.
